Hello, I'm trying to set up my roland spd sx to trigger my ableton set list. I have a big set list on it and im trying to trigger the song through a pad on the roland When i plug up my midi to usb and open up ableton, it doesnt recognize that anything is plugged up to it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

use the max essentials midi monitor, ro something, to see - does it receive MIDI from the Roland?
ignore the song stuff first.

Hi, I have an spd-sx. You need some drivers to run it (from the site). Also make sure usb mode is set to audio/midi and not wave manager (which acts as a drive)
