Crackle when loading vst

Hey,
I have a tune playing with 5 tracks, nothing taxing on the computer.
CPU at about 10% (amd 8320 16g ram). Live 9.6.2 32bit
When I load a vst from push 2, it get a glitch as the gui for the plugin loads.
This seems to happen with ALL vsts.. Synth1 included.
I have a laptop and it does not do this.
Not sure what to do?
