I just downloaded the demo and followed all the install directions, yet every time I try to start it up I get this Error Box:
A serious program error has occurred. You should try to save your work under a new name using the Save As command from the File menu and restart the application
I'm on a Beige G3 w/a proc upgrade to 366, 512 mb ram, running 9.1.

I upped the Ram for the app to 200mb w/a 100mb minimum, but still no-go. I'm stumped. Any ideas? tia

I got it. After reading another thread here about Mac issues, I upgraded the CarbonLib extension to 1.6 and the demo fires up fine.

Perhaps this info should be included with the Mac requirements. At the moment it says "any G3 or faster, 9.1 or later, 256 mb ram" but no mention of the required carbonlib update. 9.1 came with carbonlib 1.2.5 or something.

Hi,

Sorry for that but as you find out for yourself Live 2 doesn't work with older versions of Carbonlib. We'll try to elimate this problem or giving out of a better error message to the user.

Alex
