Ableton Live in the new PowerBook commercials!!!

watch about halfway thru and you'll see the "musicians bit" and it shows Ableton Live running on a new PB. and also a very cool surprise with the backlit keyboard thing. kewl.

probably the throbbing vector dock icons, not to mention the sheer "gooeyness" of OSX.
it is a very cartoon-like interface compared to OS 9 and Windows.

i meant that on my i can do everything i want to do with my powerbook - but when then power consumption reaches 40% - the screen update rate drops to about once a second
and editing stuff is a real drag
but my new PC will be here in a few days !

BT looks like such a goober in that little promo movie.. pretending to be all surprised when the lights dim and the keys light up..

Anyone read BT's anti-Oakenfold diatribe? I think it was Mixer (or Remix)(maybe Remixer?). It was rather amusing - accusing Oakenfold of breaking into his studio and stealing his music. He sounded like quite a goober.

Actually, the 'goober' is the chocolate covered peanut, a fine invention in its own right.
I herefore change my accusation of BT to 'douchebag' to avoid any further confusion.

funny - i always thought a goober was a musician who has an agent who spends the whole day contacting every possible music soft/hardware company to get their artist some free goodies in return for an appearance in a commercial... ;)

I take it I don't have to be sorry that I don't know this goober? The stuff he was playing in the background during the sounded like a bunch of eJay samples if you ask me. And he did sound alot like he had a tape recorder instead of a larynx...
(Did I mention I like the Streets?)
