U-He Diva: vintage synth emu catch-all?

So I was pondering looking into the Arturia collection of vintage synth emulators, but then started thinking maybe Diva might be versatile enough to serve as an all-purpose vintage synth without trying to emulate any particular synth to perfection?

Any thoughts?

In my experience, best synthesizer is the one that you know thoroughly and you're expert at working with it.
All the other ones can give you ideas.

I'll vouch for any of the Tal Juno60 emus. I happen to have a real Juno60, and these emus are very, very good imo.

I own both, I can say that Diva is it's own deal, and Arturia plug ins are their own as well.
Hard to say which is better, the Synclvier, Jupiter, CS80 and Matrix 12 emulations are all top notch.
Diva would be easier to learn, and the best thing to do with collections like Arturias are to wait for sales.
I got the whole package for $99 after owning Spark Dubstep for $1 Stupid deal of the Day, and a free version of their Minimoog emulation.
So I would slowly get Arturia stuff through sales and get Diva now.

The main synth you're not going to emulate with Diva that Arturia make is the Synclavier, so getting just that and Diva is the sensible option I guess.

I like DIva far more. it sounds so good, just demo them and listen yourself.

Diva offers: Jupiter , Minimoog, junos, MS20, JP8000 oscilator and an ob filter.

Arturia has the moog modular, yamaha cs80 and prophet instead.

I also like u.he bussiness better, they have good support, make updates from time to time and they fix bugs constantly.

Also there are some excelent preset banks for diva from third parties.

Thanks, guys. I've had very little time for music lately, and just for fun, I started making a short piece inspired by the Stranger Things theme, and while Monark is awesome, I kind of wanted to just play around with some tweakable vintage sounds. I do love to create patches from scratch, but nowadays, it's pretty much spend your precious time creating a patch or actually make a little music with presets.
