So I'm trying to record a midi clip whilst jamming out some midi notes using the 'Repeat' function on push 2.
Set to 1/16 and everything sounds fine..
After recording I look back at my clip and some notes always seem to 'stick' on 16th notes like this:



Any one else get this? Please help, it is driving me mad.

This is a bug, and it occurs if Arrangement Loop is active. Affects P1 also.

To reproduce:
- Set an arrangement Loop of 1 Bar length.
- In session view, load an instrument, activate repeat and start recording into a Clip. Play various notes holding at different times by holding down pads.
- If a new note is triggered during a loop iteration, once the arr. loop "restarts", new notes would be added before these just recorded.

you have record quantize ON and set to 16th notes

I have the same problem. Records fine but them a whole string of notes will be added after the fact. It's very frustrating.

Is Live up-to-date on your machine?

Yes, and I just updated to 10 with hopes it would be resolved... no such luck... can anyone help?

turn off "reduce latency while monitoring" in option settings

this fixed it for me ....

Somehow this is still an issue... Literally can't use note repeat like this, it always adds a bunch of notes

You should report this to [email protected] if you can consistently reproduce the issue.

Wow, I'm using v11.3.10 and the big still lives. I had to disable arrangement loop while working in session view. Good thing I wasn't performing...live.
