its called truegrid and claims to be a patchable online modular comprised of actual modelled modules. i didn't really get deep with it tho, seems like there's only a couple of working modules available at this time. still, it's a very interesting starting point i think.
This isn't working really well for now. But it is free and potentially a great source of information when this really gets working.

Caustic 3.1 app (IOS or Android) has a built in modular synth which is a very easy to learn and wont break the bank, plus you can lay in bed or on the couch and nerd out moving patch cables around.
