Simpler Manual Slice Mode for every controller

Hi,
Is it possible to use the manual slicing mode for every controller, not just for push?
I mean, I would like to create slices pressing a different note on my controller as I do on the push rather than creating those with mouse.

I tried doing it on a keyboard and didn't fully know what was happening.
I think you have to start on C3 and go chromatically

Tried that, it does not work. I don't know if you have you're push plugged in maybe it will work but otherwise it doesn't.

Hello, I know it's been a while since this question was asked, but I was asking myself the same and have a solution.
It's a free Max4Live patch which does exactly as Push 2 does with manual slicing while hitting subsequent pads.

AZ-Labs even have another M4L patch which replicates Push 2's ability no nudge slices and so on, but it's not free ; you'll find it on their website. Cheers
