Using Push's Sustain Pedal Input as a Kick Drum

Post by eauhio » Thu Nov 10, 2016 7:36 pm

I'm using Push 2 with Live and I'd like to use my sustain pedal as a kick drum. My pedal is an M-Audio SP-2.

So far, I've tried a Max for Live plugin and an app called MidiPipe and neither one has worked out.

I know this is possible. Does anyone know how?

Hi,
You can only re-assign the input n°2. M4L is one of the solutions.

Has anyone managed to make this work with Push 3 (or even 2 or 1 with recent firmware)?

I was very excited when I read this:

Until I realised it was google concatenating two disparate parts of the manual.

I would try Sustain Pedal Kick Drum 2.0, but reports from 2016 suggest it was no longer working or under development back then.
