Hi guys
I installed omnisphere 2 on my ableton . but it make ableton run very slow and buggy . also when i play the sounds they are glitchy and buggy, this is my first and only vst plug in that I have on abelton . do you know what caused it and how i can fix it ?
(omnisphere contain 55GB of sounds)
also the percentage bar at top right corner of ableton screen goes up to %18 when i run Omnisphere .

my computer spec :
processer AMD A8-6600K HD FRAPHICS 3.90GHZ
INSTALLED ram : 8gb(7.20 usable)
sys type: 64-bit

It's a big guy.
Maybe you have problems reading banks from your hard, in this case you should wait or buy ssd storage.

Increase the latency of your audio interface to see if this solves the issue.

If you are using your laptops soundcard, that may cause you big issues. AMD processors also aren't the best for this kind of stuff either.

Omnisphere can be a real beast with some of the patches and effects, takes some spare grunt. Look into optimising your laptop for realtime audio stuff (disable power saving features, unload as much from running memory as you can etc) there are loads of helpful sites around.

You may find that a larger buffer will work or Asio4All drivers but a dedicated audio interface would be the best option.
