ive sold 75% of my guitar equipment and made the plunge into complete computer based music. so far I'm ejoying it. I dont have to mess with eqo filled singers,dickhead guitarist, drummers that dont show up, and pot head bassist that are pissed bc they could never get guitar so theyre stuck being a shitty bassist that uses a pick...

and the best thing...LIVE 4 is in the mail...should be here!!!!

Holy Shit, you just nailed my old band down to a tee! Especially the bass player part. My old man told me from day one, if you want things done right, do it yourself. Never count on anyone even if you can.
So now i do everything and love it! The only part I hate is when I show up late for my own rehearsals cause i have to jack off or something.

I can't stand bass picked!!!

It's good for certain songs, in certain places.....
but boy does it sound boring when used all the time.

Let me guess....... His strap was down to his knees to make it look all tuff
and he just played 16th root notes on *everything*.

picked bass makes my stomac turn.

bow or fingers kids. its not a low register guitar.

picked AND MUTED bass is cool. Palm-mutes on bass are wicked, instant rub-a-dubby reggae. But even that gets old.

nothings cool and nothing sux, its all there for a reason.. too much of everything gets boring.. except puss.. i mean chicks.

i dont like picked bass. i think its ok for faster upbeat playing. but only every once in a while. totally.
