DJ Setup - Mix 2 Decks on 1 Track separately

Hey there
I'm trying to setup a dj set with live played elements. that means 2 decks, a few fx tracks and a track with an instrument rack (live played with push 2). this question focusses on the 2 dj decks and how to mix them easyly.
on the two dj decks i can setup a self made mixer (low, mid, high, kill switches, etc.) and control it by using macros of the audio rack. the problem is, i can only control 1 deck at once. what i want, is controlling both signals separately with one macro only on a third track.
my idea was to setup a third track, add an audio rack with 2 chains and route the signal of deck 1 to chain 1 and deck 2 to chain 2. i put my mixer on both chains and programm a macro that controls the parameters from chain 1 and chain 2.
well, what can i say? it does not work, obviously.
does anybody has a hint, how to setup something like this? or do i think too complicated and there is an easy way, that i cant see atm?
thanx in advance for any help!
chris
