which midi controller

I'm looking for a midi controller with a matrix of rotaries/knobs that will allow me to control a large number of sends per channel (5-10) and also the 8 knobs of a device in a rack (so maybe 16 rotaries in total). This is so that for a selected channel I can control the sends and the 8 device macros. What are my options? I've looked at the novation launch control and, whilst it looks decent, it only has 2 knobs per channel and so scrolling through menus is required. The livid DS1 looked better but is no longer available.
