I have my main PC-1 with Live9 installed. Having lots of issues with Live 9 (running under Win19), but that's another story. Because I cannot use some of the VSTs in Live9 I want to setup my old computer with Live7 and use them. On that PC-2 I have an option to install WindowsXP (which I used in the past) or Win10/64 (which I have installed now). No license for Win7.
Despite it's kinda old it still fast (8Gig RAM, 123Gb SSD + 2 x 2Tb RAID HD). at this moment I use M-AUDIO Fast Track interface connected to my new PC.
On PC-2 I have Sound Blaster Audigy/16 card installed. This card has MIDI In/Out but it only has 3mm aoudio output. I also have M-AUDIO 4x4 midi interface (it has no sound processing). I also have an older midi keyboard which I can connect to PC-2. I'm thinking about using the Sound Blaster card but wonder if I get god quality.
I would love to have to PCs synced (if possible)

QUESTION:
What would be the best option to get the sounds from PC-2 delivered to PC-1 ?

To get sounds from pc to pc, you could use spdif or adat optical connections, but then you would need two audio interfaces with that. Or you could use dropbox on each pc. I use dropbox to export files from my ipad to my pc. Everything that gets put in the dropbox folder gets synced to all you dropbox installled computers. The free dropbox has 2gb of space, probably enough to transfer files. Also you could use usb flash drives.

I don't think dropbox is a solution in my case. I need live sound. I also need synchronization.
