CC64 Sustain Pedal at end of clip = hanging notes

i know that his might be a minor issue but whenever I jam along and record clips I tend to miss the point where I should let go of the sustain pedal and this is a pain in the ass especially if you trigger a new clip and cc64 just keeps going. I created am4l device that send CC64 at clip change but I don´t like workarounds you know.

Well, there's no good solution for this. In some situations you don't want to release the pedal when you change clips...

i agree with you that this might be the case but in my 10+ years using Ableton Live the ratio was probably 1000000 clips where it occuredoccurred unwanted and 2-3 times that i really needed it.
