Been an avid user of Cubase for the past 15 years and only made the jump recently to Ableton and have a quick question I wanted to run by you all.
If I am rewiring Reason as slave, what would you recommend is the fastest way to get that recorded into Ableton? Right now I am creating a new audio channel, set my audio inputs to the same channel as Rewire, press the record manually, mute or delete original rewire channel.
I remember in Cubase there was a simple function where you set your markers on your rewire channel to which bar you'd like to record the audio and simply press "export to audio" and it will automatically record everything in that bar and even create a new audio channel for you. Is there something similar to this in Ableton?
