Push 2 and Launchpad in Ableton

Hello, together, I have a small understanding problem with the connection of a Launchpad pro with a push 2 in Ableton live (suite). I do not do the simply following constellation.

On the left side I would like to use on the Launchpad all pads with loops, drums, effects, voices. The push 2 stands on the right side where I arrange and jam the song and record the clips.

Unfortunately, I do not know how I separate the Pads in Ableton. if I take up on the pushing, then the track is also taken up on the Launchpad.

It should be so easy, actually. The Launchpad should contain only clips which I can play in now and again simply with.

Can somebody give me a tip? Many thanks of a beginner ;)

The best greetings

Hey you should look for little yellow flashing strip. Bottom of screen.... There you can lock the controller (push or launchpad) to the device.

BTW I'm going to buy a launchROB today ...their cool

Update.... didn't realize your post was from earlier in the year
Regards

Good afternoon everyone
I was reading this post, because I have the same issue.
I am trying to play on the Push 2 with a Synth and simultaneously change clips on my Launchpad for another track within the project.
If I right-click on the synth I can 'Lock to control surface 1 (Push2)', but while playing and changing clips, the Launchpad forces the Push 2 on to the clips track.
Where is my mistake?!
Please let me know ... Thanks in advance
