Using the sidechain function in Live with Softube Console 1

I have just bought the Console 1 MK ii and was wondering if anyone knows how to get the pumping sidechaining function to operate using it and Ableton Live? The Softube Console 1 manual is pretty vague about this feature. So any help would be appreciated.

I don´t know if you ever got to solving this.
I duplicated the track I wanted to use to trigger the gate. Assigned its output to the channel I wanted gated with the console 1 instance on it.
Below that there is another box where I selected Console 1 Shape/comp depending what you want to use the side chain for.
Finally on the console 1 hardware, on the top right there is a button that says External sidechan. Select To Shape or To Comp. depending on where you what the sidechain to be applied!
