Identify Individual Notes in an Audio Sample

Searched this question but didn't find anything that wasn't ten years old.

Is there a Live tool or third party plugin that can accurately identify the individual notes being played in an audio sample?

I'm not talking about finding the key of a song or the root note of a chord but rather the actual individual notes being played in a solo.

In my case I have a keyboard solo that I want to reproduce myself playing live while creating MIDI notes so I can also modify it. In the original audio sample the solo is being played very fast and it's extremely complicated, so even if I slow it down it's difficult for me to pick out each note correctly.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Kinda.

If the solo doesn't have much background stuff going on, you might get lucky.

Third-party-wise, Melodyne should help.

Ableton can also convert audio to a melody.

Like I said though, really needs to be a true "solo" for it to work properly.

If there is nothing else going on in the sample but the sound you want to identify, I would suggest you use EQ8. If you hover your mouse over the peaks EQ8 will identify which note is being played. I have always found this to be very accurate.
