Anyone doesn't use simpler ?

Hi folks,
I asked this question is because I am pretty new to slicing / chopping business and I saw many vids show how to use simpler to do slicing. However, other than simpler, do you guys use other 3rd party vst plugin which has more features than simpler. If so, mind to share with me ?
Thanks!

The recent update to Simpler is light years beyond Sampler for many purposes IMHO. I'm not sure why this question is being posed, since for slicing / dicing / WAPRing, etc Simpler cannot be beat. Think about how much more fluid the process is when using Simpler than the likes of Kontakt, the ancient relic that it is. Sampler is similar to me -- quite old and there are other, better options for multisampling / multiple velocity layers. Logic's Alchemy was a welcomed addition for this aspect. It would be in Ableton's best interest to update their Sampler with the improvements made to Simpler.
I use Simpler relatively frequently, and I'm not sure why you wouldn't -- the short response.

because I bought 9 few weeks ago so I didn't know what's the new improvement introduced since the last version.

It's a fair question. The answer is that Simpler is probably the best sampler on the market for this workflow. Until they finally update Sampler that is.

I don't use it much. For the most part I make REX files in ReCycle if I'm slicing.
Live itself has always been a good warp, slice etc. tool, it's not often that I want to 'play' a sliced audio file.
I use Kontakt more, and for real sample mangling Falcon.
Once Simpler gets Cinesamples and the like writing libraries for it I'l declare the death of VST and hail the embedded revolution.
