Hi,
I cannot tried from home so I put this point on our list. But I think you can understand that it has not the highest priority.

Yep, not a huge deal, just letting you know in case you didn't already.

certainly a problem with Safari, since all my other browsers work fine here (opera, omniweb, chimera 0.6, navigator 7.01, ie 5.2.2)...
did you "send a bug report" from Safari, by clicking on the silly little "bug button"?
Hey, and while we're on the topic, has anyone noticed that when you browse to the apple site using safari, the top page has a little safari icon on it? I think it says "welcome safari user" or some such... I can't see it clearly at my 1600x1200 res though...
but seriously, this is way-y-y off topic. & certainly no fault of Ableton's... imho.

Sounds like Safari has quite a bad CSS implementation. Use some decent browser until Safari developers have had the chance to make their homework.
It is, and always has been, a big pain in the ass for web-developers having to "fix" something by implementing extra routines for Netscape here and for browser Y there. The time of the big browser wars and "personal solutions" is over, and luckily there is a very powerful standard set for http-applications wich can do more than you ever dream of.
Safari, says Mr. Jobs, is based on standards, wich does not say that it supports every standard right now. But if Apple are serioius about building a fast, reliable browser, it will get better with the following releases.
So don't blame the web-developers. Just make your browser follow the rules, or use a browser wich does already, and the rest will be fine...
fixed now
