Basically I want to just scroll by one scene, if i use "Octave UP", it scrolls by 8 scenes. If i use the UP/DOWN arrows, it starts and stops the active tracks clips legato style.

I dont want that, i just want to "change the view", like scrolling with mouse up and down

oh ok it seems to be working now. when i am in session mode. it lets you use the up down arrows to scroll without launching anything

but i swear to god, i was just in session mode and it was not letting do that in the performance i jus t did, and it was annoying. totally messed up everything. youd think something so simple would just "work"....and not have some weird behaviour.
