Trying to get TouchOSC installed. Midi control works fine, but I haven't had any luck getting things like the clip launcher to work. Livecontrol_TO doesn't appear in the control surfaces even though I have the folder installed in the MIDI Remote Scripts folder. I've been researching this for hours and can't seem to figure out the issue.
ios 10.3.3, Ableton 9.7.4

I think you've installed it in the wrong folder.
The folder required is a folder inside the Ableton folder.
Also, I might be mistaken, but that particular preset might be a bit dated now. It is confusing. I get mixed up after a while because there were like two which were based on touch layout editors and use osc/midi. At least one was updated to v2 but I think they changed hosts or something. I'd suggest doing a little more researching on what is current. One of the touch/Ableton layouts on one of the apps migrated to Lemur.

MIDI Remote Scripts folder is inside the Ableton contents package. I'm pretty sure it is in the correct place. There is the LiveControl script (which does appear in MIDI preferences) and the LiveControl_TO (which doesn't show up even though it is copied into the MIDI Remote Scripts folder. Everything else is working - MIDI, sending OSC messages (I see those coming into Max). So, I think the issue is either something with the midi scripts or on the iPhone end.

I have exactly the same problem.
This YouTube uploader (called BitBurner) shows how to install it using the LiveControl Installer.jar file.

I can't find this .jar file anywhere on the Liine website. Does anyone have it and can share it? Manually moving the files into the MIDI Remote Scripts folder does not make the device appear in the control surfaces menu.
I feel it's bad form for a company to remove the previously downloadable package just to force users to upgrade to version 2. If someone can help all us mugs who forked out money for this thing, well that would be very helpful indeed.
