I am trying to record a set from session view. I have cleared all automation from all tracks in arrangement. Saved and exit then restart.

The small orange dots still appear on the x-fade, volume and tempo. Re-enable automation is left highlighted (since I do not want past automation to impact the recording).

When I start recording, mid set some automation kicks in (tempo change and x-fade) well into the set.

Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Live 9.7.1 on a Windows 10 machine

You can record automation in each clip in session view too, so make sure you didn't record something there as well.

Got it thanks. Missed clearing them in session view.

Do you know if there is a 'clear all automation' command? I'd like to be able to clear the entire set all at once (in future when re-using a set or forking to something new)

Live does not have that function, sorry.
