Midi Phrase Sequencing

Post by splnlss » Fri Sep 29, 2017 10:29 pm

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to setup a midi phrase looper? On basic level this is what you can do clip view, but I'm looking for something more versatile. For example, on C1 I'd like to have a chord played not perfectly line up notes that has velocity control. Say on D1 I want to have a midi riff, E1 has the same riff up a note with again velocity control.

In short I don't have good use of my left hand, so I'm trying to setup more complex midi note arrangements across a keyboard. On a basic level this already exist in live but I can never get things to function how I would like. I'm thinking of something like my old EMU sampler across a keyboard and at various velocity levels but all midi.

thanks!

Is a sampler out of the question?

Any idea if you can import midi clips into redux? I couldn't find it in their online manual.
Thanks
