help me figure out this 4-track Looper-based setup? clipping

I have a nice project with two audio inputs (external 1 & 2), grouped and sending to a send (sending to Sends Only). I then have four audio tracks that have their Audio From receiving from that send (Post Mixer), each with a Looper (one at 2 bars, then 4, then 8, then 16). It looks like this:

Each Looper has its Record and Clear buttons set to pads on an MPK MK2 so I can press one to clear track 1, another to record, and so on. It's nice.
My issue is that there's lots of clipping: essentially when I record on the 2-bar looper and it starts playing back, that same sound is being played from the Audio EXT-1, so it clips pretty heavily.
I feel like there's a better solution here for what I plan to use as an improvisational looper set... Any tips?
