Hello
I use Live with a lot of vst plug.
When i reduce the Live window, launch another prog like sound forge and i come back to live and play my project, my computer is overloaded for a few moment ...
Do you know if i can use a RAMDRIVE to swap my project ?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english !

You're better off disabling a couple of the more intense plugins before launching Sound Forge. You can do this by clicking the circle on the top left corner of the plug to temporarily turn it off. When you quit Sound Forge and come back to Live you can click the circle to activate it again. The benefit is you free up CPU when temporarily disabling.

fastest:
assign dedicated keys to the on/off of your most CPU intensive plugs.
i reserve i, o, p, k, l keys on the right side of the keyboard for reaktor instances, reverb plugs, etc .... then assign them in the project where i need them.
then for any reason i need to shut them down to free CPU, its simply a matter of hitting the keys and watching my CPU meter go down. flip them back on when i need them again.
