User Library Management Issue - Transferring btw 2 Libraries

Hi Community,
Wondering if anyone has the solution to an issue I'm encountering.
Situation: I have 2 separate user libraries for Live, on 2 separate hard drives; one for my laptop, one for my desktop. Sometimes I complete a library task in my desktop (say, warping and trimming some drum loop samples and saving them as warped clips in my user library) and then want to transfer the clips to my other user library. I have the same sample libraries installed on both HDs, but of course when I copy the .als files or .alc's from HD1 to the User Library on HD2, these files are still referencing the sample file locations on HD1. So when I load them in a track from my User Library on HD2, I get the 'media files missing' alert. I can go into Library management and point to the folder on HD2 where the samples are - Auto search works it out pretty quick from there. But...I have quite a few banks of clips I'm trying to transfer over, and doing the auto search track by track for each .als is...it sucks.
Questions:
-Is there a way to use the File Management System to correct the sample locations for large groups of clips (saved as .als) at once, without having to load them all up track by track?
-Is there some workaround that I don't know about for managing/syncing 2 user libraries on separate hard drives? Ideally I'd like to just keep them synced and updated with one another - is there some way to do this??
Thanks for your time and responses!!
