Hey everyone,

I've been trying to record some simple tutorials to help with my teaching but I'm having trouble getting a screen recorder to actually record audio from my ableton. Using active presenter (Have tried other programs with the same issue) and it records any audio perfectly until I open ableton.
I'm running windows 7 with a komplete audio 6 interface.

Anyone have any ideas?

In my classroom I'm on mac and use Screenflow Ara

So Mac-only solutions aren't helping you.

I assume you're using NI's ASIO driver in Live's audio preferences. Screen readers don't 'hear' the ASIO stream, since it bypasses the Windows audio engine.

Switch to MME/DirectX, and see how that works out latency and performance wise.

Take care that Windows' and Live's sample rates match, 44.1k or 48k should work; I assume that on higher rates Youtube would do a sample rate conversion, that's out of your control.
