Hi,

Just sharing an experience.
Upgrade from Yosemite to High Sierra.
Using the same XR18 mixer, Latency increase from 7ms roundtrip to 8ms round trip at same settings (48khz,64 samples).

It also create an unfixable issues with my bluetooth devices that have been working flawlessly for years.
It cuts in and out, like intermittent signal reception.

This on a 2015 macbook pro retina with quad i7 2.8ghz, 16g ram with SSD drive.

Anyone else experience issues from High Sierra?

Have you checked for updated drivers?

I'd suggest 10.12 Sierra is the better update. Did you have specific reasons you need 10.13 High Sierra? I'm thinking I'll skip this one. Apple have destroyed my trust with their 14th major OS release. They do a terrible job giving us any reasons to trust them since their superultramajor security palaver. I want to see Apple learn from their mistakes. I see nothing of the kind.

it's also possible that the minor slowdown is because of the new code for mitigating the Meltdown/Spectre Intel CPU security flaws...

Yes, I was re-listening to a podcast about this yesterday. Apparently, Microsoft are allowing users to chose between speed vs better security. Apple? I don't think so.

No issues with High Sierra here, please check your drivers and 3rd party software for compatibility...
