What have you wanted? Most GUI's of DAW's are greyish I guess.....

i agree that there is a pretty limited selection to choose from (and they are all shades of grey)...

Grey is a great color for the interface itself. It’s relatively dark and not too tiring on the eyes and also relatively sober and classy. Plus it also contrasts great with the brightly-colored clips and waveforms and purposefully doesn’t detract from the important stuff happening on screen.

It’s easy to play armchair designer and bash Ableton for their color choice but they certainly designed it that way for a reason.

the Dark theme is the only one i personally find usable. anyway, the point is that previous versions of Live offered more variation in GUI colour themes...

none of the L10 themes met my needs as I prefer something bright with high contrast, something close to the old Calcium skin

As for live themes... monolake with a little more brightness.

Im not a fan of white text. When you make a dark theme in Ableton the text and some of UI elements become white. It become extremely convoluted for my eyes.

I'm hoping someone does the Monolake skin for Live 10 too. In the meantime, I use the default Live 10 with the following tweaks:

Brightness = 82
Color Intensity = 77
Color Hue = 210

Still a nice muted blueish color, and it doesn't have white text (that bugs me too).

try 6 pm instead. besides not being aggravating to "that woman" and making a case for itself in court, it has the added benefit of not waking up the kid.
it's amazing what consistently having a full night's sleep will do for a child.
you should try it.
