Hi all,

I dont't use ableton very much but accidentally purchased .amxd product which can only be used on ableton (unless theres a way for it to be used as a standalone or on another host)

I do have a registered ableton live daw but its Ableton Live 8 Intro. I'm trying to install my .amxd into this current host but there is no
User Library / Presets / Max Midi Effect folder anywhere.

How would I go about getting this .amxd product to work with my current version of ableton? Is it even possible? If not is there another way to run this product whether as a standalone, through a different host etc?

Unfortunately that Live edition doesn't have Max for Live, and it's also possible the Max for Live version used for the product is a more recent one than the one compatible with Live 8 altogether.
