I'm trying to authorize 10 suite but it hangs and says beta has expired as I had it installed previously for the beta test program. I removed the beta before installing 10 ultimate.

Are you trying to authorize a purchased version of Live Suite? If that's giving you problems you should contact support. We can't help you with that.

Beta versions can only be authorized when you've purchased a Live 10 Standard or Suite License. You need one to keep on beta testing since the official release.

Yes I purchased the 10 ultimate pre order. I actually sent a ticket to ableton first but I still haven't received any response. I ended up having to register offline but was hoping to fix whatever was causing the problem instead of using a workaround. Not a good start ableton! If I was a new customer I'd have a bad first impression of the company for what it's worth.

Do you still have Live 9 installed on your PC/Mac? I think online authorization could have possibly started wrong version of Live resulting in a failed authorization.

It wouldn't authorize on my mac. I moved ableton live 9 to the trash. after authorization pull it back out. can't be knocking hoes up out here.
