Can't delete selectet section from a clip

Hi.
I can't delete selected sections from a clip with delete key or with strg-x (cut).
I have to move the selected section to become a seperate clip and this clip i can delete.
Only whole clips i am able to remove.
Ableton Live 10 Suite 10.0.0.1
Windows 7 Ult. x64

Two options.
1. Exit Automation mode. In content mode you can delete by selecting and pressing DEL.
2. When in Automation mode, extend your selection by dragging the mouse into the clip header. Than press DEL.

Thank you for your answer! Grrrrrr this REALLY ANNOYS ME, that you have to drag the mouse into the clip header. It's driving me crazy

I guess it started since version 10, in the version 9 you didn't have to drag it to clip header, just select a portion of clip
