Alt-Space but for Multi-Clip Editing?

Hi!

I'm very new to Ableton Live and am just trying out the Live 10 demo - really enjoying it. I've found that the alt-space shortcut to play from the cursor in the arrangement view midi bit is essential (it's quite annoying having it play from the start of the clip each time otherwise), however I cannot get it to work when i'm in multi-clip mode. Am I being silly or is this just not possible? And also is there a way to make it play from the cursor by default?

Thank you!

-Alex

That doesn't seem to do it :(. It plays from where it last left off but it doesn't play from where I've placed the cursor if you see what I mean.

Any other ideas would be amazing! It might actually be a bug or something they need to fix but if there is a solution or workaround let me know!

Any update from Ableton? The multi-clip editing feature is almost unusable due to the lack of the alt-space shortcut...

Not the same thing, but as a substitute, you can click on the bars/beats area on top of the clip view.

Are there any workarounds yet? I use Alt_Space all the time and find it annoying to click to hear the region i want to hear.

Has this been solved yet? Maybe an update in Live 11? The project I'm working on requires multi-clip editing and this is very annoying

I emailed them over a year ago and the support rep couldn't quite work out if it was a missing feature or a bug. I reminded them a week ago and was basically told it will be fixed when it's fixed. Extremely unhelpful as I use multi-clip editing in almost every project.
