Can i create an Instachord to Vst Synth Rack?

Hello,
i am trying to find a way to use Instachord and a VST Synth in one Rack. So that the Instachord (midiplugin) sends his data to the VST Synth. May be that this is impossible, cause Instachord isn´t a midieffekt. I seems to me that Ableton handels Instachord on the same level as a VST Instrument. So everytime i try to add one of both, the other disapears.
I thought about building a Rack in a Rack. But i didn´t figure out how to get this.
