no one else’s 10.0.1 autoupdated?

There are links to the official site on Reddit. But I am just waiting when it is officially announced... But I agree - if the new version is done we should get it immediately.

So your contention is that if a torrent name/info says it is a specific version not yet available, then it is that version? Because?

That Reddit thread with *what seemed to be* official Ableton 10.0.2 installer has been up for more than 24 hours and no report back form Ableton, neither with "do not install that file" report nor "10.0.2 is out now." Has anybody installed that file?

I have, and Ive also tried to connect my DAW laptop to the internet. No 10.0.2 yet.

It's very simple really. If isn't sitting in your account page it is not the official release.

No, the suspense for this next update is killing most of us, so you have nothing to apologize for. The expression is Wishful thinking, that's all. It's easy to fall for.

While it's certainly possible the actual release candidate was leaked, the differences towards the open beta should be minimal at best. Chances are the "leaked" version is the beta rebranded, which takes about five minutes to do if you know how.

Only when there is a proper release in the accounts can you compare to the "leaked" version to see where there are differences, if any. Though at that point it's all moot and time is better spent making music.

It's an assertion based on observation. This has been happening for the past point updates of Live and has been going on for a while.

The Reddit post has a link to D/L 10.0.2 from Ableton's servers, so this is probably where the pirated version has come from.

Probably a leaked beta version packed with malware.

On my account page I can already see 10.0.2... Check yours too!

Is there some specific feature everyone is desperately waiting for?
This is a fixes and small-tweaks and "tighten the loose bolts" sort of release. Surely if there's a fix in 0.2 which you know you need then you are already using the beta? I'm confused here.
