Hi,

does anybody else has problems using omnisphere 2 with ableton 10? I get sporatic crashes when browsing sounds...

Nope. Mine works perfectly on by MPB running High Sierra.

I am on High Sierra 10.13.4 and Ableton 10.01.

Omnisphere 2 is really stable here.

there is a new Software update 2.4.1 d. for Omni 2

After updating omnisphere the problem got resolved.

Hmm. I am glad it worked out for you. I have the last version of Omnisphere 2 and I am having crash issues when I browse sounds. I am not too sure if this is an Ableton or Omnisphere issue.

Oh man, I am suffering the same problem... could you find a solution?

Just jumping in here to say me too. Omnisphere was great on the last update but will crash when browsing presets now. (I've also noticed the new arp doing weird things)
I've reported this to Spectrasonics... hopefully they get to the bottom of it.

Are you all on Mac? Anyone on PC?

I have not noticed an issue on PC but also have not really used Omnisphere much in the last month.

Win10 here. jestermgee, if you haven't used it much recently, are you on the most recent update? This is where my issues started.

Not 100% sure, I did update it 2 weeks ago. My post was mainly to garner more specifics about peoples posted issues such as OS so it's easier to guage if the issue is Live, OS Specific or Omnisphere itself. If we have people using Windows with the same issues on the same latest versions then it would probably be an issue Spectrasonics have to deal with.

I had reports from a couple of users using my NKS library for Omnisphere report through the same crash issue but all were using Mac. I was not able to reproduce the issue so was curious myself if it was a change in Omnisphere that affected my NKS files or if it was Omnisphere or the OS. At least I can now advise it appears to be an issue with Omnisphere specifically.

I'd suggest anyone with the issue post it thru to Spectrasonics. I have had a similar crash issue happen with Keyscape which I could easily replicate within Live but they still haven't fixed that yet.

This was an issue on Mac 3 years ago mate. Of late, there are no issues that I have heard and personally, I have never had a crash related to Omnisphere and I use it in almost every project for the last 10 years.

Maybe throw in a little extra effort and detail at the very least what OS and version of Omnisphere you have...
