Arr. view follow ON by default + MIDI editor maximize shortc

Forgive me if this already is implemented in v10, I am still on 9 but upgrading soon.
Anyway, I think I have pressed the follow button in arrangement view hundreds of times by now.
Even after assigning it to NumKey 0, it's still annoying. Is it possible to switch it ON by default or at least give us the option in Preferences?
Also, after some heavy work in the MIDI editor, I wish there would be a keyboard shortcut to maximize and stretch the editor window instead of dragging x 100. Is it possible?
