Expression control but pattern sync'd

Hey all,
I am looking for a device that does what the M4L Expression control device does by allowing to select another device control in Live (specifically a track fader) but to fire it off only at the end of a bar/measure/etc. I can do this with the desired parameter (track fader) using a dummy clip however I want something independent of the grid so that I can still fire scenes without triggering these clips that would change fader levels. I have not had a lot of luck digging in maxforlive.com but my patience is probably too low.
Short of building it myself, has anyone seen something like this?
