Hi Sorry if this is a newbie question - I want to import an existing song - I guess from .MP3 or similar and then remove exisitng vocals and add new ones - in the chorus mainly. Is this easy enough to do in Ableton Live?

Removing vocals (or any other part) from a finished song is very difficult. There are a few tricks that sometimes do a half-decent job, but rarely a good one.

Think of a finished song as being a baked cake, and you're trying to remove the eggs

Thanks - I thought that might be the case but was trawling to see if anyone had any good tricks! Probably even harder given I am fairly new to Ableton! Thanks for taking time to reply - appreciate it
