Ableton only opens default template on launch

Hey, I am running into a peculiar bug where, if I navigate to a project via finder and double click on the .als file, ableton still loads the template as if I just opened it without clicking on a file. I can only open specific projects once Ableton is already open. That means that I have to load 2x in order to open a specific project. Never seen this issue on any program before. Hoping I'm not the only one with it.

I would try deleting your preferences in this case. Are you on MacOS or Windows?

Hmmm... guess he fixed it!
I myself have a folder of "live Links" of shortcuts to open
project files, but they open right up in Live when double-clicked
(Win)
