had a nightmare at first on my Gigadesigns 2.0Ghz G4 (used to be a dual digital audio). basically had a kernal panic, which meant i couldn't boot into my system disk, until i booted up into my backup system (with 10.4.1) and ran diskwarrior (after a whole bunch of other stuff)... this cured the probs, and now its working boootifull..

Think i'll wait a little bit longer fot Tiger, Happy as I am and im worried Spotlight etc might kill my little 800Mhz Imac (I got a 512M Sodim ready here to upgrade to !g of Ram btw).

Anyone else running a sub 1G Mac with Tiger? Hows it performing?

Also anyone know where I can buy the (Torx10 & 15) Apple Torx format drivers to get in my IMac from?

cheers

I have to run a permissions repair whenever
I want to watch a DVD 'cause I get a "Supported
Disk Unavailable" message... :?
Everything else seems fine so far...

I'm running live on a dual 450 with tiger 10.4.2 everything works great. I can't use to many plugins but other than that its rock solid.

Which ones? This is the main thing keeping me from upgrading...

edit: oh, I guess you mean you can't use Plugs CPU-wise, not because they're not compatable...

i waited until the 10.4.2 upgrade before i installed tiger.
seems very good with logic 7.1 and the newest iterations of reason, melodyne and live4.
