Good high/low-pass-EQ letting EVERYTHING pass when set to 0?

hi folks,

can anybody recommend a good VST equalizer which will let the whole signal through when the high pass frequency is set to minimum and low pass freq to max?
using ableton's eq4 there is a considerable difference between setting the high pass's freq to minimum (= 40 Hz) and switching the eq off altogether. as i will nly use the cutoff from tme to time, i'd ruin the sound of my live-set when having eq4 switched on like this all the time.

i need such a (midi-controllable) eq for the master output, to be able to cut off from down upwards or top downwards using a midi controller. therefore i can't use wave's EQs, though they are very good, but being no VST effects you can't midi-control them in Live.

any ideas?

you can MIDI control waves in Live - you need to use waveshell. Try putting the waveshell DLL in its own folder (E.g. plugins/waves/waveshell.dll)

it should come with the waves plugins, you get an option in the installation to install VST ... I think thats it.

katha,
what is your definition of "everything" ? what are you going to do with the EQ?
The recomendations may depend on this.
