How to DISABLE Arm on Select in options.txt

Hi, I enabled arm on select (by adding the line -EnableArmOnSelect) to the options.txt file.

Worked great. Now I wish to disable it as I do not want this behaviour for my Live set-up (will just use it when producing). Any ideas how to disable it. I tried saving a new options file without the above line - NO GO. I tried putting in a line that was -DisableArmOnSelect...also NO GO.

Any ideas how to disable this once enabled?

There's something about posting about an issue that immediately has me solving it for myself. I just worked out that I am on the Beta path with Live and I've had a few upgrades since I set the options.txt. So, I needed to go into the latest version and edit that one. Just did that, and saved an options.txt with out the Arm on selection and it's all good now.

For anyone still looking for the solution on how to disable -EnableArmOnSelect in the options.txt file here's how to fix it:

1. Open (or create) the "options.txt" file in:
Windows: \Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Ableton\Live x.x.x\Preferences
Mac OS X: \User\Library\Preferences\Ableton\Live x.x.x\
2. Add the line "-NoAutoArming"
3. Save the file and restart Ableton

I actually had it enabled without even having an options.txt file and was looking for an answer to that problem aswell.

Removing the line is enough.
