Hello,

when I want to map parameters from a VST I just have to hit the little arrow, then hit configure, then just map the parametres I clicked on in my VST and that are now appearing as sliders. I just have to map those with the enveloppe follower.

But no little arrow on the Ext.Instrument module.
I can create an intrument rack and have access to macros but I still can't find a way to map those macros to CC's message.

I know how to automate the parametres from my Mopho X4 with CC automation.
But I want to trigger those parametres with an enveloppe follower. I can't map the drop down menu where cc's appear so

how can I map the CC value in order to let an enveloppe follower to control them?

DAW and VST parameters and MIDI CC are completely different things.

Live has a weird undocumented (AFAIK) feature that a Macro that had a MIDI CC assigned to it can send that MIDI CC to outside Live. But you need some controller from outside Live to assign MIDI CC to the Macros.

Otherwise you can try a M4L device that sends MIDI CC, then assigning the Envelope Follower to it (note you can map from Envelope Follower to stuff in other tracks, doesn't need to be in the same track.).

Yes I have the Push 2 but in this case I don't really need the control as I want an envelope follower to do it for me.
I will give it a try with the M4L device midi cc.

I tried with the Max Api CtrlMidicc module but it looks like I can't go as far as the cc of my MophoX4:
there are 3 layers to select your parameter and it's not enough:
1- Track: this one (ok)
2- Device: Ext Inst (ok)
3- Parameter: "Device On or Input Gain" not ok, these are the only choices, I can't select a cc value.

Am I doing smtg wrong?
