Is there any AL device that can simulate playing on Ondes Martenot and on Theremin?

The ondes martenot was invented in 1928 by the French inventor Maurice Martenot.
The theremin is named after the westernised name of its Soviet inventor, Léon Theremin (??? ??????), who patented the device in 1928.

So almost a century old instruments, just for info.

Both the Ondes and Theremin are monophonic instruments, so try Analog with both the EGs and amp set to legato, set portamento/glide to taste. Experiment with wide pitch bend settings (say =/- 12 semitones or more) as an alternative to portamento.

For waveforms, try a sine first (with filter wide open), saw or pulse will work if you close a LP filter down most of the way (and set key tracking on) to get something closer to a triangle. No resonance for Theremin, you can play with the filter and FX plugins to get the sound of the various speaker cabinets of the Ondes.

Set vibrato (via LFO) to either fade in or control with the mod wheel (or other controller). Use a foot pedal or other controller to adjust volume as you play to simulate the amplitude antenna of a theremin, or set amp EG attack and release to taste, decay = 0, sustain = max.

There might be a Theremin preset in the factory library, I've never checked. If not, maybe someone here has made one they can share with you.

Thank you. That sounds worth trying!
