How do I stick the Loop Start Marker to the Loop Start?

Why is the Loop Start Marker free to wander around - and how do I stick/staple/nail it to the Loop Start?

Image

Let me be clear: I NEVER. EVER. want the Loop Start Marker to move. EVER.

In over a decade of using Ableton, I have NEVER wanted to start a clip from anywhere except the beginning of the loop.

I have no idea which audience this 'feature' is designed for - but it's not me! I don't want it!

Having my Loop Start Marker wander around feels like trying to run a business with a colleague who turns up drunk and late every day - who I cannot fire.

Please tell me there's a button somewhere that lets me nail the Loop Start firmly to the beginning of each loop.

EVERY SINGLE DAY when recording stereo riffs this wandering INFURIATES me!

Thank you!

(I love Ableton in most other ways!)

I think you're meaning the sample/loop start no the loop/sample start marker? (In simpler)

A loop start is an amazing tool for creating unique sounds and loops.

Or if your meaning just in the audio clip it will not start in the wrong place as long as you have edited it correctly. Do you have auto warp long loops on?
