Hi guys, I just bought Stutter Edit and I am having a hard time setting it up. I have followed the instructions but I don't have any Audio channels showing up when I try to route the Midi channel to control Stutter Edit. Any idea why I can't see any Audio channels in the Midi To output box? Any help appreciated!

um, because an audio channel is not a MIDI channel...

Yeah I am fully aware of that, thanks for your incredible insight. I am sending Midi info to control Stutter Edit which requires Midi input to work.

I have just figured it out, I was using Audio Units NOT VST. All good!

Hi , Having same issue, when you say using Audio units not VST? is this a setting some where within the track ?

There are two popular plug in formats. AU and VST. On Windows you’d only have a vst option.
Apparently from what this thread says, audio unit effects do not tell Live that they are able to receive midi from an outside source. When the user used a vst instead of an audio unit they were able to create a new midi channel and route it to the audio channel, then point that directly to the Stutter Edit vst.

Thank you for posting that solution to use Stutter Edit as a VST! This just fixed my Stutter Edit issue.

Ha! It's the exact opposite on Mac. The VST version won't show me outputs, but the AU will. Imagine that!
