I was just reading the 10.1 notes and came across this “Plug-ins that crash no longer cause Live to crash”
WOW.. that’s a game changer for me!

Try loading Arturia Pigments vst3 in a track. Then activate it and record something. Then try to delete the track. Live crashes this is with MacOS Mojave.

The 10.1 release notes refers to scanning VST3 plugins, not loading, OP misquoted it.
Here is the full sentence:
VST3 plug-ins are now scanned via a separate background process. Plug-ins that crashed during scanning no longer cause Live to crash. In addition, Live will not need to wait for the plug-in scan to finish in order to launch.
Also, you are not supposed to discuss the beta outside the beta forums, as the whole point of having a beta is to test potentially broken stuff before it reaches the main audience.
